The Merck Vaqta DET needed a logo for their new team called the "Guardians DET" which represents VAQTA Adult and Pediatrics. When thinking through and creating concepts for this team logo, I really wanted to convey protecting people from Hepatitis A through VAQTA as the Guardians.

You’ll notice there are three main elements to the logo. The first is a "V" shaped person in the middle of the logo in VAQTA purple. The second main element are hands below softly embracing that person, you could say protecting that person.

Those two elements along with the VAQTA orange at the top create the third element, the visual of a shield. The combination of these three elements create a really powerful message of protection against Hepatitis A.

Underneath Guardians VAQTA DET is a sentence that brings the team, the message, and the logo into perspective.
